I don’t know if I should go to community college and take the rest of my human services diploma or go to university and take a bachelor of arts? but I have heard that bachelor of arts is useless… so I don’t know what to do any advise?
A bachelor’s is definitely going to be more useful than a mere two-year associate’s degree.
B.A. is simply a term for bachelor’s degrees in a variety of fields. So, whether yours would prove to be useful would depend on your major.
What you could do is earn an associates’s at the community college and then transfer to complete a 4-year degree and earn the bachelor’s. If you had any thoughts of eventually doing graduate degree, in Human Services or something else, you would have to have a bachelor’s.

than transfer to a 4 year college and change my major, is that almost like a waste of 2 years? im confused. for example if i major in psychology, will it than take me another 4 years?
No education is a waste.
I changed majors halfway through a four year college, from science to social science. I finished in four years anyway. The classes I had taken served to meet the requirements of my new major in a lot of ways – the general education requirements for example.
Sometimes it’s useful to have a broad education. You may have to take some first year classes in your new major if you haven’t already done so.
You should study what you are interested in and see where it takes you. Psychology can be useful in a lot of areas, including human resources management (which is a fairly hot field).
This is our first public appearance, at our Oscar’s Ceremony at the Octagon Theatre Sheffield.
We’re all amateurs but love singing. Hope you enjoy

Creative Communities: Environment
Teaching contemporary curriculum
available online from http://www.artfilms.com.au
Combining the role of both teacher and community artist Jeanette Jennings extends students learning outside the usual boundaries. These rich resources present, teachers and art educators in the broadest sense, the opportunity to take their students work to another level; from curriculum based examples through to public works that can be installed in school grounds or broader community places. The film documentation and the additional CD-Rom provides teaching curriculum for individual drawing projects, printmaking and painting units, ceramic projects and other collaborative works.
Jeanette Jennings is a passionate advocator of public and community arts, particularly with their integration into art education in schools. She has a fine arts degree, majoring in sculpture and ceramics, and a diploma of Education to teach and work with children and adults across all levels and community groups. Jeanette has made her mark in teachers education by giving lectured at the University of Melbourne, running workshops for teachers through Art Education Victoria, and presenting at international conferences.
This film provides three examples of art projects drawing inspiration from various areas of the curriculum such as literature, history and science.
