Is there any art projects out there that use old plastic ID badges that we could consider?

I am doing community service for a local Goodwill and they have some old plastic ID badges that they are trying to find some sort art type project to dispose of them with. Does anyone have any links or suggestions to what could be done?

If that plan does not work out, then they would like to recycle them. So does anyone know of a company that specializes in the recycling of those? Thanks for your help!

I’ve heard of mosaics being made with old credit cards. Just cut them into pieces.
