The LAB Project is Proper Job Theatre Company’s flagship course for adults who are out of work or need to try something new. The LAB Project has engaged with over 400 adults in Manchester, as well as numerous others in Blackburn and West Yorkshire.
The LAB Project is a two-week intensive course in community arts training that uses drama as a means to access creativity and build self-esteem. During the course, participants are taught how to run a drama workshop for children aged 10 (Year 5 & Year 6). They then put their new skills into practice by running the workshop in a local primary school.
The course runs from various venues across Manchester and will be delivered in Kirklees, West Yorkshire this year.
