Could you do a Double major in Law school? I wanna do International law but also Creative writing. Any sugge-

suggestions?
I want to be an Activist through the arts internationally raising awareness and coming up with solutions in struggling communities through the arts such as documentaries, theater, spoken word and writing books. I also want to become a world renowned writer while doing it. I started my first book already.
My current major is Poli Sci and Eng.

I do not believe you can get a joint degree in International Law and Creative Writing. Usually at the graduate level joint degrees are rare due to the time involved to complete them and the more rigorous rules surrounding transferring of credits. Generally speaking when it comes to law degrees at the JD (Juris Doctorate) level you will find joint degree programs are similar to law degree such as joint degrees in: Law & Public Policy, Law & Public Planning, Law & MBA, Law & Psychology, and Law & Health Care Management.

My recommendation would be forget the law degree as it probably would not help you that much with you goals. If you are wanting to be an international activist best thing to do is get involved with groups that share a common interest with you, at least get your M.A / M.S. in creative writing, and if possible get your PhD.

With graduate programs, they don’t call it a double major — they call it a joint degree or dual degree.

Yes — you can do it — but it would probably take an extra year to complete an MA with the JD. Lots of law students do dual degrees — but not many do it in creative writing. You see a lot doing a dual degree in business, international relations, public policy or even engineering.
